I received the best piece of mail from Miss. Jaclyn last night. As some of you may know, she is getting married in July, and she asked me to be the reader at their wedding ceremony. Not only did she give me the honor of reading, but she also wrote me the sweetest, most sincere, hand-written note that I have received in a long time.
During a time of heartache and tragedy, it was very refreshing and uplifting to receive such a warmhearted and kind gesture.
It will truly be my honor and pleasure to be a part of her special day.
Where to start….well I’m heading to Vegas this weekend for a Bachelorette Party (holllaa) and while I am SUPER excited about this girl’s weekend getaway, that meant I had to do the dreaded task of swimsuit shopping.
I started at Von Maur, then I ventured to Target, then Dillards, then Victoria’s Secret….and I couldn’t find ONE swimsuit bottom that both fit me AND was flattering. Yes, there were some bottoms that did fit, but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t feel suffocating or gave me love handles.
It should be mentioned that I wear a size 8 pant and a size 6 dress/skirt. I guess I’m wondering when it became normal for swimsuit bottoms to only fit size 0-4 women?
I ended up finding a swimsuit at Victoria’s Secret that worked for me. But, it was the only bottom left in that style and there wasn’t one other swimsuit bottom that worked for me in the entire store.
It’s safe to say that I am very frustrated and angry that it took me this long to find a swimsuit that I felt comfortable to wear.
So my question to all of you lovely ladies is where do you buy your suits? Have you had a similar experience?

Me: Yeah, when Spring hits, I really stop cutting and coloring my hair because the sun lightens it up so much.
